The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are recruiting for a Gas Engineer contractually based out of our Basingstoke office and mostly covering the North Hampshire area on a full time, permanent basis, working 39 hours per week. While we will try to keep you local, you may need to travel to and work from any of our other sites in Hampshire to help other teams when needed.
We will provide you with a van & fuel card for your travel. You will also participate in the emergency on-call rota, and as part of the on-call rota, you will be paid at competitive rates. Additionally, you will have access to a performance related bonus scheme based around productivity, enhancing your on-target earnings and rewarding you for your hard work!

As a gas engineer, you will carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing of domestic boilers and appliances in line with gas safety regulations. Identifying faults and testing controls to ensure they are in full working order. You will complete gas safety checks in line with guidance and regulations, completing all necessary paperwork to fulfil our obligations. You will have interaction with our customers and help them to understand how to effectively use their heating & appliances. Therefore, good communication skills are key!
You will have CCN1, CEN, HTR, unvented and CPA technical qualifications, which you will need to provide proof of at interview stage. Essential electrics would be beneficial. You will also have a full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) so you can drive one of our vans. This role is subject to a satisfactory licence check and a basic disclosure check.
