We’re recruiting for an Electrician to join our team! Contractually based out of our Portsmouth office, you'll predominantly cover Eastleigh and the surrounding South Hampshire area. This is a full time, permanent position working 39 hours per week, alongside participation in the emergency on-call rota. You'll need to live within a suitable distance to attend out of hour emergencies within a reasonable time frame, and will be paid at very competitive rates for the on call rota!

Here’s the facts about the role:
As an electrician, you’ll carry out electrical repairs and installations to our domestic and commercial properties. You’ll make sure you work in line with all current IEE Electrical Regulations whilst maintaining high Health & Safety standards. You’ll fault find on circuits and carry out electrical testing as required. You may also be required to carry out P.A.T testing as required.
The Qualifications you need to apply:
- Electrical Installation - one of the below:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification + AM2
- City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2
- City and Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3, (from Sept 2011)
- City and Guilds 2365 Levels 2 and 3 + AM2
- City and Guilds 2357 + Including AM2
- Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification 2346 + AM2E
- An industry recognised level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
- City and Guilds 2391 Periodic Inspection and Testing
- Or City and Guilds 2394/95
- An industry recognised level 3 qualification in Initial verification and Periodic testing
- City and Guilds /20, 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations - desirable but not essential

You’ll be able to demonstrate good all-round electrical skills including testing, fault finding, repairs and installation. Experience working in domestic properties and/or for social housing would be an advantage.

- Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
- A high degree of mobility, which will include walking/lifting/loading and unloading vehicles
