Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a background in spinal cord injury or complex neuro rehab looking for your next locum opportunity? Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Locum Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Spinal Cord Injury Rehab service in North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with complex needs through their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with spinal cord injuries across acute and/or rehab pathways
- Carry out functional assessments, including seating, positioning, and equipment provision
- Support discharge planning, including complex home adaptations
- Work closely with MDT colleagues including Physios, Nurses, and Consultants
- Deliver patient-centred rehabilitation to maximise independence and quality of life
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience in spinal cord injury, neuro rehab, or complex physical rehabilitation
- Knowledge of specialist equipment, wheelchair provision, and environmental adaptations
- Ability to manage complex caseloads independently
- Strong communication and MDT working skills
