Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy inpatient team in Birmingham, supporting the assessment and discharge planning of complex and frail adults. This is a fantastic opportunity for an OT with strong acute experience to contribute to a supportive service focused on safe and effective patient discharge.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and treatment, with a strong focus on discharge planning for complex and frail adult patients. The role is primarily based at one inpatient site in Birmingham, with occasional cross-site cover required as part of the post.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and treatment of complex adult inpatients
  • Comprehensive discharge planning and coordination
  • Undertaking access visits within the community
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience working in inpatient hospital settings

  • Car driver essential for access visits
