The Role
As a Cardiac Scrub Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the surgical team by preparing theatres, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing expert scrub assistance during a wide range of cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub for a variety of cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), valve replacements, and other complex cardiac operations.
- Prepare, check, and maintain specialist cardiac surgical instruments and equipment.
