My client is looking for a full time Band 2/3 Phlebotomist to work in Essex.
Shift Times: 08:30am - 16:30pm or 9am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday. Full time - 37.5 hours.
What You Need:
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to own car
- Experience working in Phlebotomy in the UK
- Phlebotomy certificates
As a phlebotomist, you will:
- Perform venepuncture (blood sampling from veins) and capillary sampling with accuracy and confidence
- Prepare, label, and handle specimens in accordance with laboratory and NHS guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to infection control, health, and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and guidance during procedures
- Support the clinical team, assisting with other duties where appropriate
- Follow Trust/clinic policies for specimen transport, storage, and reporting
