Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for a skilled Acute Locum Occupational Therapist to join a busy inpatient team in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced acute hospital environment, supporting patients with complex needs and facilitating safe and effective discharge planning.
The Role: You will be responsible for assessing and treating adult inpatients across acute wards, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions. The role involves functional assessments, discharge planning, and coordinating with community services to ensure seamless patient transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients within an acute inpatient setting
- Complete functional and mobility assessments
- Support complex discharge planning and equipment provision
- Work closely with MDT colleagues to optimise patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in an acute inpatient setting
- Strong discharge planning experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
