Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Acute Inpatient Physiotherapist to join a busy NHS hospital service in Northern Ireland. The postholder will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients within acute medical, surgical, and elderly care wards. You will play a key role in discharge planning, mobility assessments, and promoting patient independence and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with acute and complex conditions
- Work across acute medical, surgical, and elderly care wards
- Contribute to discharge planning and onward referrals
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Support junior staff and students where required
Requirements
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum of 6–12 months' UK NHS experience
- Previous experience working in an acute inpatient xgikmsk setting
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
