We’re now looking for an AV Design Engineer to join our growing team and help design innovative AV solutions for new and existing installations.
The Role
As an AV Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing reliable, high-quality AV systems for installations across the UK. Working closely with sales, project managers and technical teams, you’ll ensure every system is designed to deliver outstanding performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design AV system solutions for new installations and upgrades
- Produce technical drawings, schematics and system documentation
- Specify appropriate AV hardware and equipment
- Work with internal teams to ensure designs meet customer and project requirements
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and best practices
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Strong understanding of AV technologies and system integration
Technical Skills
- AV system design and specification
- Knowledge of signal flow and AV infrastructure
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or Visio
- Understanding of networking for AV systems
- Experience with large-scale or multi-site AV installations
- Industry certifications (e.g. AVIXA / CTS)
