Advanced EngineerAs one of our Senior (Advanced) Engineers, you\âll play a key role in shaping and supporting our expert installation and service engineering team. Living our Customer First value, you\âll ensure every project is delivered to the highest technical standards, with quality, care, and attention at the heart of everything we do.
You\âll work closely with our Engineering Management team, Chief Engineer and Project Managers, bringing a Smart and Commercial mindset to every decisionâensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and right first time. You\âll also mentor and coach engineers across the team, helping us continuously improve and build a friendly, collaborative, and highâperforming engineering culture.
This is a national role. Our projects take us all over the UK, so you\âll need to be comfortable travelling nationwide and staying away from home between 1â4 nights per week, depending on project requirements. In return, you\âll enjoy variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact on projects that matter. Plus it will be all expenses paid of course.

Responsibilities
Extensive experience in the AudioâVisual industry, with a strong background in AV systems design, integration, and engineering leadership.
Proven trackârecord of managing installation teams, working handsâon from 1st fix to commissioning.
Deep understanding of AV technologies including Video distribution, Networking, control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), audio processing, projection, and display systems.
Strong team management and organisational skills.
Excellent problemâsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with both technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Willing to travel UK wide to install systems (including overnight stays) & weekend and OOH when required. We won\ât ask for more than 6 weekends per year.
Desirable Qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, AV Technology, or a related field.
Industry certifications (e.g., CTS, CTSâD, CTSâI).
Experience with AutoCAD or similar AV design tools.
Help us grow and improve our engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Oversee the offâsite prefabrication, and installation of AV systems into our customer sites.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
Assist with the development and implementation engineering best practices, processes, and documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team.
Keep up to date with emerging AV technologies and trends, recommending strategic technical improvements and supporting our Hardware and Software development teams.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expertâlevel support when needed.
Lead the onsite installation team to deliver our bespoke AV installations anywhere in the UK.
Deliver great customer service and strive for \âright first time\â engineering.
