About Vivedia
At Vivedia, our hardware is the foundation of the customer experiences we deliver. Our AV products operate in real-world, high-reliability environments where there is no margin for failure. Hardware must work consistently, integrate seamlessly with software and connectivity, and be practical to deploy, support, and scale.
We’re now looking for an Assistant Product Manager – Hardware to support the development and evolution of our AV hardware portfolio. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, ideal for someone early in their product career who enjoys working closely with technical teams and customers.
The Role
As Assistant Product Manager – Hardware, you will support the Hardware Product Manager in delivering and improving Vivedia’s AV hardware products. You’ll help translate customer and operational needs into clear, actionable work, coordinate delivery across multiple teams, and ensure hardware changes are well documented, communicated, and adopted. This role plays a key part in both business-as-usual improvements and larger initiatives, helping to keep delivery moving in a complex, real-world hardware environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build a strong understanding of customers, users, and operational teams, and what “good” looks like across hardware, software, and connectivity
- Support delivery of the AV hardware product roadmap, contributing to prioritised backlogs and clear specifications
- Translate customer feedback and operational needs into practical product requirements
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Desktop Development, Test, Technology, Technical Support, Delivery, and Customer teams to coordinate delivery
- Support rollout of hardware changes through Customer Success and Marketing, ensuring readiness, communication, and effective handover
- Assist with change management activities, considering training, adoption, and documentation from the outset
- Create and maintain accurate product and technical documentation under the guidance of the Hardware Product Manager
- Remain hands-on and practical, contributing directly where needed to keep delivery moving
You don’t need to have done everything before — we’re looking for strong foundations, curiosity, and a practical mindset.
Essential:
- Experience supporting product development initiatives from concept through to delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- An interest in AV hardware and physical products deployed in live customer environments
- An understanding of how hardware, software, and connectivity interact
- A delivery-focused, pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight when required
Desirable:
- Product, technical, or engineering-related qualification (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience using customer feedback or market insight to inform product decisions
- Interest in the bereavement sector and willingness to build deep industry knowledge through immersive customer experiences
