About the role: We are busy delivering our next generation of intelligent sensors to clients across the world, from Transport for London, to New York City, to Melbourne. We’re seeking a Manufacturing Support Technician to join our Manufacturing function. This is a full‑time, permanent role where we offer dedicated training and support to enable progression through set performance levels. This varied role provides exposure to multiple Manufacturing tasks, working across our teams providing valuable support, with an opportunity to learn new skills in this exciting field.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working across the manufacturing process, including:
- Building mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies;
- Assembling mechanical and electrical hardware into IP enclosures;
- Using software to flash and test assembled components;
- Following build processes and reference tools to ensure all assemblies conform to correct specification;
- Stock responsibilities:
- Picking stock, making kits to supply builds;
- Goods In receipt, including processing return sensors and logging key details;
- Inventory management tasks such as stock checking;
- Packaging sensors for shipment, and booking shipping via courier portal;
- Attending meetings and contributing ideas to ensure continual improvement within team;
- Collaborating with other teams across the wider company where appropriate.
About you:
- Professional experience would be an advantage, but not necessary, must be passionate about manufacturing, with eagerness to learn;
- Good communication skills;
- Team player: maintains a positive attitude towards work, showing respect for colleagues and visitors;
- Manual dexterity with an eye for detail;
- IT literate;
- High personal motivation.
