A high-growth tech company is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead and mature its DevOps capability. This role is primarily on-prem , designing and optimising enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines, automating complex deployments, and supporting critical production systems—while also contributing to a gradual shift toward multi-cloud.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and grow the DevOps function as a hands-on technical leader.
• Architect on-prem-first CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Standardise DevOps tooling, processes, and infrastructure across multiple teams.
• Support and improve large-scale on-prem production environments , with some cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) exposure.
• Drive reliability, monitoring, performance, and operational excellence.

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years in DevOps/CI/CD infrastructure roles.
• Deep experience in on-prem orchestration, build systems, pipelines, and release automation .
• Strong with IaC (Terraform, Packer, CDK/Bicep) and configuration-as-code (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong scripting (Python/Ruby) and automation fundamentals.
• Experience with containers, monitoring stacks, and large-scale distributed systems.
• Excellent communicator and a natural mentor.
