A fast-growing cloud & hardware technology scaleup is hiring its first dedicated Senior DevOps Engineer to build and own its DevOps foundations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where reliability genuinely matters — the platform supports mission-critical, real-world use cases, not internal tooling or side projects.
What you’ll do:
- Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines with embedded security and quality gates
- Design monitoring, alerting, and observability targeting 99.99% uptime
- Build cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (CDK / CloudFormation)
- Lead container migrations into ECS and improve scalability & resilience
- Support the transition from a monolith to event-driven microservices
- Automate relentlessly and reduce operational overhead
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years in DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering
- Strong AWS experience (containers, networking, IaC)
- Solid Docker + ECS background
- CI/CD, DevSecOps, and production-grade monitoring experience
- Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment
