We’re partnering with a fast-growing technology company to hire a Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join a small, high-impact engineering team. This role focuses on building and maintaining reliable data pipelines and infrastructure that support complex, data-driven products used by global financial institutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building, optimising, and maintaining ETL/data processing pipelines
- Supporting production data systems and troubleshooting issues
- Working with Python (or similar) and SQL in a collaborative engineering environment
- Contributing to code reviews, documentation, and on-call support
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in data engineering or a closely related role
- Strong scripting experience (Python, R, MATLAB, or similar)
- Solid SQL knowledge
- Background in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Bonus: cloud experience, systems/networking knowledge, or additional programming languages
