Role Description
This is a part-time self-employed Child and Family Psychotherapist role based on-site in London. Responsibilities include providing specialist psychotherapy to young children and their families - addressing mental health challenges, facilitating meaningful change, managing risk and maintaining comprehensive client records. You will work collaboratively with children, families, and relevant professionals to deliver personalised care.
Role is face to face in Fulham, London, and involves working as part of a specialist, growing team. Must be a clear communicator with the ability to answer emails and messages promptly and clearly to assist our administrator in booking clients in quickly and smoothly.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum level of qualification is a degree in Child and/or Family Psychotherapy or Psychology
- At least two years post-qualification experience of delivering psychotherapy to children and their families
- Must be registered with a relevant governing body in the UK (ie BPS, BACP etc)
- Experience working with children aged 4+ and families
- Skilled in delivering CBT to children and families
- Knowledge and experience of working with neurodivergent children and families
- Must be passionate about psychotherapy with a commitment to own CPD and staying abreast of latest theories and techniques
- Must have considerable experience of own personal therapy
- Must have own supervision and insurance in place
- Must be able to offer at least 8 client hours per week, across two days, all outside of school hours (evenings or weekends only)
- Must be comfortable commuting to Fulham, London
