Vittoria & Partners is growing — and we’re looking for a talented GRC Associate to join our London team with an opportunity to progress to Monitoring Officer level. As a GRC Associate, you will support Senior Compliance and Risk Monitoring Officers across a diverse portfolio of clients — from innovative startups to global firms establishing a UK presence. This role offers significant exposure to a wide range of investment strategies and regulated activities. You’ll play a key part in our monitoring programme, client onboarding, policy development, and oversight of key regulatory processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing new client onboarding and preparing committee reports
- Coordinating and contributing to monthly monitoring activities
- Participating in the approval of financial promotions
- Assisting in maintaining and enhancing our compliance policies and procedures
- Preparing for and joining internal committees and working groups (e.g., Compliance Committee)
Compliance Operational Workflows:
- Assist the Monitoring Teams in managing compliance workflows, ensuring timely completion and escalation of overdue items.
- Help maintain and update the Compliance Monitoring System, ensuring information is kept current and that data is updated promptly to support daily monitoring activities.
- Upload and maintain policies with full version control.
- Summarise client meeting action points, track follow-ups, and maintain clear audit trails.
- Support the GRC Operations Manager in documenting processes, procedures and workflow enhancements.
- Identify inefficiencies or gaps in operational processes and propose improvements.
- Perform initial review of the Triage List, identifying potential issues or anomalies.
- Escalate findings to the Monitoring Teams with a clear rationale and supporting evidence.
- Manage due diligence requests and support the preparation of due diligence documentation.
- Assist with ongoing due diligence reviews and ensure all records are complete, accurate, and audit ready.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Monitoring Teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues early and escalate appropriately.
- Comfortable working with workflow systems, compliance platforms, and structured documentation.
