As Vitt's Senior Underwriter, you will:
- Define, build, and lead the credit risk function
- Establish credit risk management and controlling tools
- Develop scoring methodology and credit risk models using state‑of‑the‑art data science and the latest regulations
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst SME (invoice financing credit risk management strongly preferred)
- Significant experience in credit risk analysis based on traditional data sources such as financial statements, management accounts, and bank account data
- 3-5 years of professional experience in model development, model validation, data science, or quantitative finance
- Best‑practice knowledge of credit risk, including a deep understanding of the full lifecycle from origination to debt collection, and experience in building credit policies and models from scratch
- Deep and broad knowledge in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, financial risk management, or statistical modeling
- Extensive experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages
- Detail‑oriented, curious about data/models/algorithms, and skilled at critical thinking and problem‑solving
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
