Vitrue is growing and we need someone to take our operating foundations to the next level. This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who thrives on ownership, variety, and making things meaningfully better, across everything from company rhythm to team culture.
As Operations Lead, you’ll own the day to day operating system of the company. You’ll join our Leads team, partner closely with the CEO, and help make sure Vitrue runs efficiently, stays financially healthy and remains a great place to work.
This is not an office manager or support role. We’re looking for someone who can lead operations across the business, contribute meaningfully to company level decisions, and move comfortably between strategic conversations, independent ownership and practical delivery.
What you'll own
Company Rhythm & Leads team
You’ll own the operating rhythm across planning, OKRs, AI operations, Leads meetings, All Hands and follow through. As part of the Leads team, you’ll help set priorities, shape decisions and strengthen how the business executes.
Finance & Runway Management
You'll own the practical side of finance operations, including payroll admin, commission processing, budget tracking and monthly reporting with our external accountants. You'll maintain a clear view of cash flow and runway, and proactively flag risks or savings opportunities.
You don't need to be a finance expert, but you should be comfortable with numbers and happy to get into the detail.
People Operations
You’ll own and improve key parts of the employee experience across the full lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. This includes keeping our people policies, processes and internal guidance clear, practical and up to date, and helping build the foundations Vitrue needs as we continue to grow.
Office & Team Experience
You’ll own the day-to-day running of the office, improving the space and ways of working to create a productive environment that helps the team do great work. We’re on the look out for a new office so you’ll play a big part in creating the right environment for our team. You’ll also plan quarterly socials, team events, strategy days and the whole team away week, making sure they are well run and actually deliver on their goals.
Governance & Deal Support
You’ll lead governance and compliance activities, keeping key policies, processes and documentation up to date. You’ll own the yearly ISO recertification process, maintain audit evidence and work with external consultants to keep us audit ready.
You’ll also help the Commercial team get deals over the line by responding to customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests.
Special Projects
You’ll lead cross-company projects that strengthen how Vitrue operates and improve business performance. A key ongoing project will be helping Vitrue become truly AI-native and making AI core to how we operate, make decisions and scale.
Who you are
You’ll probably be a strong fit if you:
- Have 4+ years experience in an operational role in a startup, scale-up or SaaS environment.
- Are confident working independently, making sensible decisions without direction and constantly raise the bar for work you deliver.
- Are someone people naturally defer to; you bring calm and authority to a room.
- Have strong judgement, attention to detail and follow through.
- Have a genuine interest in AI and how it can be used to transform how teams and businesses work. You are proficient across a range of AI tools and use them regularly, both to work more efficiently and to supplement your own skills.
- Can take an ambiguous problem, create a plan and drive it through to completion.
- Understand the basics of finance operations, office management, people operations, governance, security and compliance.
- Care about creating a company and environment where people can do excellent work.
You do not need to have done every part of this role before. We care more about judgement, ownership and the ability to learn quickly.
