Our client is a growing IT consultancy delivering projects for leading UK and global Financial Services and FinTech firms, recently partnering with a major UK tech employer. We are seeking a Tech Lead with extensive SQL expertise to join their business on a fixed term basis.

You’ll lead SQL development efforts, design and optimize databases, and ensure robust data solutions for critical business applications. The role requires immediate start or an ability to join with a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance.
• Design and maintain relational databases and data models.
• Perform ETL processes and ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot database issues and implement solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Broad database experience, including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of indexes, joins, normalization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in financial services or FinTech.
