  • Commercial Analyst

A key role on the trading desk, Commercial Analysts are immersed in a P&L driven environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accurate daily position summaries and pricing exposure reports for the respective business unit
  • Compile daily profitability reports to help brokers understand market impact on positions
  • Ensure accurate setup, documentation, and fair representation of new business, products, or markets
  • Support curve integrity, Mark to Market processes, and partner with Technology teams for improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams on invoicing, accounts closing, and conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications

  • Final year student completing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
  • A keen interest in the energy industry
  • Related work experience is beneficial but not required
