In this role you will be a strategic People partner for Product Engineering and Operations, shaping a high-impact people strategy that drives performance and scalable growth. You’ll advise senior leaders, influence organizational design, and embed an inclusive, high-performing culture in a fast-moving fintech environment. You will balance commercial aims with people expertise to enable teams to perform at their best. Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business objectives into actionable people strategies
  • Coach leaders to drive accountability and high performance
  • Drive workforce planning and support Talent Acquisition to align hiring with growth
  • Coach managers to elevate recruitment standards and ensure quality selection processes
  • Identify capability gaps and future talent risks in Product Engineering and Operations
  • Lead performance management cycles with goal setting, feedback, calibration, and development planning
  • Enable managers to manage both high and low performance
  • Embed a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and growth
  • Diagnose development needs and implement targeted learning initiatives
  • Coach managers to strengthen leadership, engagement, and team effectiveness
  • Support succession planning and internal mobility strategies
  • Advise on employee relations matters with risk-aware, commercially sound guidance
  • Ensure people practices align with employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Embed inclusive leadership practices and drive equitable talent outcomes
  • Translate engagement data into actionable insights and drive improvements
  • Lead retention strategies for critical talent populations
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and cultural alignment
  • Leverage people data to inform decisions and track metrics like attrition and hiring effectiveness
  • Lead the people aspects of organisational change, including restructures and process transformation

Key requirements

  • Significant experience as a Senior HR Business Partner or Senior People Partner in a fast-paced, scaling environment (fintech or technology preferred)
  • Proven experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or Technical teams
  • Strong commercial acumen linking People strategy to business performance
  • Deep understanding of employment law, regulatory frameworks, and People best practices
  • Experience managing complex employee relations and organisational change
  • High ownership, accountability, and independent working style
  • Credible coaching and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate People data into strategic insights
