Senior Business Analyst – Treasury & Network

As Business Analyst you will be required to act as a translation layer between business stakeholders and the development team in defining and developing product solutions that align with our strategic objectives. You will be aligned to our Treasury and Network Product Tribe which focuses specifically on our core banking platform. This will include working alongside a Product Owner in the squad you’re assigned to and working closely with internal subject matter experts including: Engineering, Operations, Solutions and Commercial teams. This role will sit in the Product team under the wider Product Engineering function, reporting into Lead BA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. You will be aligned to the Treasury and Network Tribe, working alongside the Product Owner to define and analyse requirements to reach the squad objectives as defined by the roadmap.
2. Provide direct input into epics, features and stories related to the changes in question. Undertake root cause analysis for issues where required and document as is and to be processes to help elicit incremental improvements to processes/features.
3. Analyse overall business impact across all relevant stakeholders and create a plan to implement necessary changes.
4. Understand any wider impact of implementing any changes and devise a communication plan (internal and external) in conjunction with your colleagues in the product team.
5. Input to product documentation to support the businesses and to assist successful roll out to help maximise utilization of new features.
6. Track success post implementation by measuring KPIs.
7. Support the business where necessary with subject matter expertise on the changes that have been implemented.
8. Work with your product engineering colleagues (Product Owner, Engineers, Architect, VP Product) to ensure changes are coherent and consistent with a broader long term value proposition and bring as much benefit to the users of the new product functionality as possible.

Requirements

1. 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst or similar role working on defining and implementing new customer facing product features and managing business change.
2. Must be highly analytical, organized and structured.
3. Desirable but not essential to have some domain experience in B2B banking or payment platforms.
4. A good understanding of Agile development practices.
5. Excellent communicator with a proven track record of establishing, building and maintaining strong, high value relationships.
6. Passion for start-ups with a mentality to get your hands dirty.
7. A team player, with the ability to relate well with co-workers, customers and partners and other stakeholders.
8. Demonstrated ability to be proactive and self-driven.
