THE CURRENT TEAM AND OUR MISSION

The Learning Specialist (Digital Learning & Systems) will report into the L&D Manager and support the company wide Learning & Development strategy as well as the Commercial Sales Enablement Strategy. Design and manage quality digital learning solutions that support the whole employee lifecycle from onboarding to organizational capability, commercial, compliance, and performance. This role provides an excellent opportunity to both learn and contribute to all aspects of a fast-growing fintech company, within the payments sector and supporting major corporate clients within, amongst others, the Insurance and Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Learning, content curation and management
  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging global digital learning solutions based on business needs and key metrics.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear content.
  • Curate quality learning content that supports different audiences across the business, with different learning needs, through onboarding and the whole employee journey.
  • Maintain audiences within the system, learning libraries and learning pathways aligned to roles, skills, and organisational priorities. Evaluate content effectiveness and retire or refresh outdated materials.
  • Learning Systems Implementation & Management
  • Manage the implementation and ongoing embedding of learning systems (e.g. LXP, authoring tools, L&D and Sales Enablement tools).
  • Act as a key stakeholder between learning, IT, systems, operations, and during implementation and continued embedding.
  • Ensuring Hibob, Salesforce and any other systems that need to integrate are automated and in place.
  • Analyze learning data and metrics across the business, produce clear insights to inform continuous improvement of learning content, systems, and strategy.
  • Compliance Training Partner with Compliance SME’s and the Compliance Providers to ensure compliance training content is well designed.
  • Setting up the learning technology platform so that the SME’s can clearly see compliance data and reporting for audit purposes.
  • Project / Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships with HR, compliance, and technical teams. Act as a trusted advisor on digital learning and learning technology.
  • Translate business needs into learning solutions and clearly communicate progress and outcomes.
  • Support the performance project from an employee journey from career goals and skills to learning content adapted to audience based on skill level.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years’ experience as a Learning Specialist
  • Experience implementing and managing learning experience/management systems
  • Video editing (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
  • Motion graphics (e.g. After Effects, Vyond, LottieFiles)
  • Content creation and experience with authoring tools (e.g Articulate 360, Adobe Captive, EasyGenerator)
  • Instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Analytical skills; learning data, metrics, and utilising insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Experience working with commercial teams and prior experience of creating learning material for sales enablement, customer success teams.
  • Able to be technical and detail as well as creative story tell
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment

Ideal, not essential:

  • Experience in either Fin-tech, tech, insurance or banking industries
  • Experience of working with Global teams ideally across the UK & US.
