This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a change or a new challenge within the business and enjoys working autonomously in a hands-on, stand-alone role. As the Senior Procurement Officer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day procurement activities while working closely with stakeholders across the business and the APAC region. The role will suit someone with an interest in procurement, contracts and stakeholder management, whether you are already working in this space or looking to build on existing operational, commercial or supply chain experience.

You’ll be trusted to manage supplier relationships, support sourcing and contract activities, and contribute to improving how we buy goods and services across the business. Bunge strongly supports internal movement and career progression, and this role offers the chance to broaden your skills, gain exposure to procurement at a business-wide level in supporting our operations.

What you’ll be involved in:

  • Supporting and managing procurement activities across a range of spend areas
  • Working with sites and stakeholders to understand purchasing needs
  • Engaging with suppliers on pricing, contracts, performance and issue resolution
  • Identifying opportunities to improve value, efficiency and cost outcomes
  • Assisting with supplier reviews, negotiations and contract processes
  • Helping manage supply and commercial risk for business-critical items
  • Supporting implementation of regional and global procurement initiatives locally
  • Maintaining supplier lists, sourcing plans and procurement documentation
  • Monitoring market and price trends and contributing practical insights
  • Ensuring procurement activities follow company policy and compliance requirements

About you:

We’re open to a range of backgrounds and experiences. You may already work in procurement, or you may be supporting procurement through another role. You’ll bring:

  • An interest in procurement, sourcing or supply management
  • Experience working with suppliers, contracts, budgets or commercial decisions
  • Good commercial awareness and willingness to ask questions
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a practical environment
  • Solid Excel skills and comfort working with data
  • Formal qualifications in procurement, commerce or a related field are valued, but not essential — relevant experience and capability are equally important.
