Bunge is seeking a Grower Relationship Manager to drive relationships and promote the use of Bunge’s storage and handling services across Eastern South Australia and Victoria. Reporting to the Manager Account and Relationship Management, you will work collaboratively within the GRM team, partnering closely with operations managers and their teams to build and maintain strong grower relationships, while connecting growers with operations, marketing, and commercial and transactional services. Some flexibility in working hours may be available outside of peak spring and harvest periods.

Duties

  • Identify and maintain grower relationships through the CRM
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote Bunge storage and handling services
  • Visit growers to promote storage and handling services and grain marketing options
  • Provide crop and grower information to the accumulation, trading and operations teams
  • Enter data into the CRM and encourage others to do the same
  • Engage with growers to secure ex-farm deliveries to domestic end-users or to Bunge ports
  • Assist in accumulation, contract execution and logistics for ex-farm deliveries

About you

  • Strong knowledge of the grain industry, growers, and grain storage and handling
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in a grain purchasing/marketing role
  • Experience in building relationships via phone and in person
  • Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role
  • Ability to use Excel to analyse data
