Bunge isseeking a Freight Coordinator join our logistics team in a key rolecoordinating road and rail freight bulk transport within Australia.

This role will work with the Logistics Planner to schedule andco-ordinate rail movements and road transport services to meetinternal and external requirements; ensuring efficiencies aregenerated for both the company and our customers.

Duties

  • Coordinating railand road freight within the designated areas
  • Identifyingopportunities to achieve efficiencies (including optimising andback loading)
  • Ensuring safety andcompliance requirements are met
  • Assisting inmanaging our network of preferred carriers
  • Monitoringperformance and KPI reporting

  • Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics or 2-3 years relevant logisticsexperience.
  • Experience inlogistics including knowledge and experience of booking andcoordinating road and rail transport.
  • Knowledge of thegrain industry.
  • Solid understandingof Chain of Responsibility and SH&E legislation relevant tothe role.
  • Sound knowledge oftechnology to support business and delivery of role
  • Excellentinterpersonal, communication and organisationalskills
  • Ability to workindependently, be self-motivated and proactive
