Hands-on role delivering impactful electrical projects across diverse sites in Australia and New Zealand. Bunge is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support maintenance, capital projects and operations. In this role, you’ll help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electrical and control systems while delivering projects from concept through to commissioning. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you’ll develop project scopes, provide technical guidance and support the delivery of industrial automation and electrical systems. You’ll work closely with site teams and stakeholders to ensure strong safety, compliance and quality outcomes. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across diverse projects and is passionate about continuous improvement and high engineering standards.
Duties include:
- Providing electrical and control systems support across maintenance, capital projects, and operations
- Developing project scopes, budgets, schedules and design documentation
- Preparing cost estimates and managing project financials
- Producing technical specifications, tender documentation and supporting contracts
- Coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and authorities to deliver projects on time and to standard
- Conducting site inspections and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Delivering and supporting PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems
- Supporting design reviews, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with standards and WHS regulations
- Building strong stakeholder relationships while maintaining quality, safety, and project reporting standards
About you:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), recognised by Engineers Australia
- 5–8+ years’ experience in electrical, control or automation engineering within industrial environments
- Strong safety focus with experience in risk management and commissioning
- Demonstrated experience in delivery of PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial control systems
- Hands-on skills in programming, troubleshooting and system optimisation
- Experience delivering multidisciplinary projects on scope, time and budget
- Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, WHS regulations and codes
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement
- Current unrestricted C class driver’s licence
