This is an exciting opportunity to join the operations team of a major e-Commerce Home Pet distributor. The Warehouse Manager will be part of the leadership team which has 6 sites across the UK. The primary responsibility of this new role will be managing the new Head Office Distribution Centre and report directly to the General Manager.
About the Role
- Management, organisation and supervision of picking and packing requirements in line with customer SLA across multiple marketplaces.
- Oversee all warehouse Goods In procedures to ensure Purchase Orders are receipted accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring the allocated Goods Out resource is aligned with channel volumes.
- Responsible for Site H S and Security, ensuring the site is safe and compliant and acting as the “H S Champion” to promote good practices and consistent standards.
- Oversee all operations recruitment, disciplinaries and training, supported by the Business Support team HR manager.
- Improving SOPs and implementing fresh ideas to allow growth, with some channels requiring a complete overhaul of SOPs to align with customer SLA.
- KPI Management and Site Procurement, supported by the finance team, ensuring the site has adequate resources.
