Based in our Limerick office we are now recruiting for a Senior Software Development Engineer. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our spirometry applications—software used every day by clinicians worldwide to diagnose and manage respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD. You’ll join a highly collaborative, cross‑disciplinary team of software, hardware, and mechanical engineers, working together to deliver reliable, regulated medical software that directly improves patient outcomes. This is a hands‑on role where your code ships, your ideas matter, and your work has real clinical impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop key elements of the spirometry software roadmap.
  • Turn high‑level requirements into clear, well‑scoped engineering tasks.
  • Help deliver high‑quality, production‑ready features at every release.
  • Work collaboratively within an agile, sprint‑based environment.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics with a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
  • Take ownership of your work and help move projects forward with urgency and pride.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and delivery of software releases.
  • Ensure all development aligns with quality and regulatory standards within a medical device QMS.
  • Produce clear documentation and project artefacts as part of each release cycle.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years’ professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years with C#.
  • Strong technical capability with the confidence to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • A team‑first mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine sense of ownership.

Advantageous:

  • Experience with Visual Studio .NET and DevOps.
  • Experience with SQL Server / SQL Server Express.
  • Experience developing WPF applications.
