Purpose of the Role

As a Sales Support Executive, you will work closely with Business Consultants and directly support a defined panel of advisers and firms within the South East region. Your goal is to promote and support the Vitality Life proposition by providing excellent service, training, and sales support to advisers, ultimately contributing to business growth and enhancing franchise profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Broker and Consultant Support
    • Act as an extension of the Business Consultant role, supporting the promotion of Vitality Life products and services.
    • Build strong relationships with brokers to deliver outstanding service and ensure ongoing engagement.
    • Liaise with internal departments to manage expectations and provide accurate information on service timelines.
    • Deliver training to advisers and administrative staff, covering subjects such as:
      • Adviser Hub
      • Vitality proposition
      • Life product features and updates
    • Attend face-to-face meetings alongside Business Consultants to support adviser development.
    • Identify and create sales opportunities across the Vitality product suite.
    • Upsell and optimise plans (e.g., SIC additions, indexation) to improve client value and franchise profitability.
    • Identify and arrange meetings between advisers and Business Consultants.
    • Research and approach potential new firms and opportunities in the region.
    • Assist with onboarding and system registrations (e.g., literature access, pre-sales tools).
    • Support and help coordinate franchise events (e.g., webinars, golf days, adviser meetings).
    • Execute targeted marketing campaigns to specific adviser segments.
    • Handle inbound Life-related queries via phone or email.
    • Liaise with the claims team and provide updates to advisers.
    • Navigate complex case queries, escalating when necessary.

Some travel may be required to attend adviser meetings or franchise events. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as duties may vary in response to changing franchise needs.
