Team - Office of the Group CEO

Working Pattern – Hybrid - 3 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working!

What this role is all about:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious, curious and motivated by solving meaningful business challenges. As a Strategic Executive Associate within the Office of the Group CEO, you'll help tackle some of the most important priorities facing Vitality, turning complex information into clear insights, compelling executive presentations and actionable recommendations.

We're looking for someone with outstanding analytical and communication skills who can structure complex problems, identify key themes and present information in a way that influences decision making. You'll be naturally curious, commercially aware and comfortable working across a broad range of topics and stakeholders.

You may come from strategy, analytics, actuarial, finance, consulting, technology, insurance or another environment where you've demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to create high-quality outputs tailored to an executive audience. You embrace AI and proactively leverage it to enhance the quality, speed and impact of your work.

The Office of the Group CEO exists to extend the CEO's reach, improve decision-making across the business and create time for the activities only the Group CEO can do. This role offers unparalleled exposure to the Group CEO, Executive Committee and senior leaders, providing an exceptional opportunity to accelerate your development while making a meaningful impact on the organisation.

Key Actions:

  • Produce executive-quality presentations, papers, analysis and communications for senior stakeholders
  • Investigate strategic, operational and commercial questions using data, research and analytical techniques
  • Produce and coordinate key governance activities, including Board and Executive Committee reporting cycles
  • Lead and/or support strategic projects, managing stakeholders and driving outcomes across multiple teams
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across the business
  • Leverage approved AI and analytical tools to improve insight generation, productivity and decision support

What do you need to thrive?

  • The ability to simplify complex information and communicate it clearly to executive audiences using PowerPoint and Word
  • A strong track record of delivering analysis, insight, recommendations or business outcomes that influence decision making
  • Strong analytical capability combined with commercial awareness and curiosity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at all levels
  • Resilience, adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • An interest in strategy, business performance and understanding how Vitality creates value for customers, members and the wider business
  • Desirable is a strong academic background in Economics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Finance, Data Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline
