Microsoft 365 SME expertise We're looking for a Senior Technical Specialist to help shape the future of our End User Services, with Microsoft technologies at the heart of what you'll do. Sitting between architecture and operational support, you'll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, champion best practice and make sure our services are reliable, scalable and built with the end-user experience in mind. Key ActionsShape and lead technical roadmaps, helping define how our services evolve and improve over time. Work closely with technical teams and third-party partners to design, build and run reliable, high-performing IT services. Stay ahead of established and emerging technologies, building your expertise and bringing new thinking into the team. Take ownership of planning and delivering major version upgrades, ensuring smooth and controlled implementation. Create and maintain clear, useful technical documentation that supports effective service delivery. Share your expertise and actively mentor colleagues, helping build technical capability across the wider team. Strong hands-on experience across the Microsoft 365 technology stack, with SME-level expertise in at least two key areas. Deep technical knowledge of technologies such as Exchange, Active Directory, Teams/SharePoint or Endpoint Management (SCCM/Intune). Experience supporting and managing Microsoft technologies within a medium to large enterprise IT environment. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to understand how different technologies and IT services work together.
