What this role is all about:

As a Senior Digital Marketing Executive at Vitality, you will be at the forefront of shaping our global online presence, driving organic growth across markets through expertise in on-page SEO and content optimisation. This role champions best-in-class website performance, delivers rich, answer-driven content, and stays ahead of the evolving search landscape powered by AI and large language models (LLMs).

Key Actions:

  • On-Page SEO Excellence: Continuously optimise pages so they are context-led, answer real user queries, and add genuine value. Ensure content reflects E-E-A-T signals and meets emerging SEO and GEO requirements. Improve site structure, metadata, and internal linking for maximum visibility while maintaining quality and relevance.
  • SEO Guides Ownership: Manage the creation and optimisation of SEO guides, which contribute significantly to overall impressions, leads, and sales. This includes deciding on topics, briefing agencies and copywriters, ensuring compliance approval, and publishing via the CMS.
  • Content Strategy & Optimisation: Lead the SEO content strategy by deciding which pages should be prioritised for optimisation. Regularly review gaps in existing content, benchmark against leading other sites, and create comprehensive roadmaps to guide improvements and new opportunities.
  • Adaptation to Search Innovation: Monitor and respond to changes in search behaviour driven by AI and LLMs, ensuring Vitality remains competitive in emerging search environments.
  • Link‐Building & PR Collaboration: Lead link-building projects in collaboration with PR, including shaping the story, creating landing pages, and keeping the Research and Insights hub up to date.
  • Performance Reporting & Insights: Deliver actionable insights through reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

What do you need to thrive?

  • Degree‐level education or equivalent with deep expertise in your discipline, built through significant experience in a relevant role or sector.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple on‐site SEO projects simultaneously, keeping everything organised, prioritised, and on track.
  • Naturally curious and proactive, with a genuine passion for staying ahead of SEO trends and algorithm shifts.
  • Collaborative team player, eager to contribute to shared optimisation goals and amplify collective success.
  • Confident with Adobe Workfront (or similar tools) to streamline workflows and keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Highly skilled in Ahrefs, with bonus familiarity across Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Detail‐driven problem solver, quick to spot issues and ensure every page performs at its very best.
