About The Role
Team – Talent Acquisition
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality South Africa office in Sandton, Johannesburg or in our UK office in Bournemouth. Full time, 35 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working!

We’re looking for a confident, curious, and credible Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruitment activity for our South African offices. Reporting to our Talent Acquisition Manager in the UK, you will be part of our global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence, you will be the Talent Acquisition expert for South Africa, delivering and influencing recruitment across all business areas and acting as a trusted partner to leaders.
This role could be based in our South Africa office in Sandton, Johannesburg or in our UK office in Bournemouth. This is a role for someone who’s a great team player but also energised by ownership, inspired by challenge, and motivated by delivering an exceptional hiring experience that reflects who we are: a business that puts people first.
Key Actions
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for South Africa, you will:
- Own end to end hiring, across all functions for our South Africa offices, from advertising to offer
- Be a trusted advisor to hiring managers, coaching them to adopt best practice recruitment behaviours that lead to better, faster, more inclusive hiring choices
- Champion a world class candidate experience, ensuring every interaction is positive, timely, and reflects the Vitality purpose and brand
- Use your curiosity and insight to influence hiring decisions, challenge constructively, and raise the bar on quality
- Build strong partnerships with HR, business leaders, and the wider TA Centre of Excellence to ensure alignment, agility, and continuous improvement
- Proactively source diverse talent, developing talent pipelines and smart search strategies for our hard to fill roles
- Use data and storytelling to share insights, identify market trends, and guide leaders to make confident decisions
- Support the evolution of our recruitment processes, tools, partnerships and ways of working to ensure we’re always delivering brilliant basics and meaningful innovation
