Actuarial Manager in our Health Actuarial Reporting team, shaping strategic decisions across Vitality Health. You’ll dive into actuarial experience, emerging trends and the drivers of profitability to uncover insights that influence the direction of the business. Working closely with pricing, reporting, and clinical analytics teams, you’ll provide actionable insights into profitability and take ownership of evolving our business planning process to support smarter, data-driven decisions.

- Working Pattern - Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth or London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Profitability Analytics: Own and develop the Business planning modelling and projections to support the business's strategic aims.
- Use insights to recommend assumptions to management for use in Business planning and scenario modelling, and drive alignment between Actuarial, Pricing and Clinical Risk intelligence.
- Carry out detailed investigations into trends and experience whilst coordinating with peers.
- Build and manage insightful analytics dashboards to support decision making, focusing on customer outcomes and early warning indicators of trends.
- Continual enhancement of existing processes and insights in a well-controlled environment with strong governance.
- Fair Value insights, assessment and monitoring: Use complex data extraction skills to build data sets to drive discussions and insights into fair value.
- Support management and the Executive to understand how products deliver fair value outcomes, providing input on Fair Value assessments and monitoring.
- Champion management and enhancement of products for in-force customers, ensuring access to services and features to meet needs and long-term value.
- Drive production and delivery of more frequent fair value monitoring and reporting, communicating risks to stakeholders.
What you need to thrive:
- Associate or Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or equivalent
- MS Office skills: Excel advanced, Word/PowerPoint intermediate
- Detailed SQL, Power BI and other dashboard building skills to support insights for senior managers
- Confident interaction with stakeholders across the business
