What do you need to thrive?
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in maths, stats or equivalent
- Student membership of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or equivalent
- Working towards the completion of their actuarial qualification
- MS Office skills: Excel intermediate, Word/PowerPoint basic
- Experience of working within financial services, particularly in health or life insurance
- Knowledge of SQL, writing and editing complex queries to extract and process data, e.g., using SQL Server Management Studio
- Knowledge of more advanced visualisation/dashboarding tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge of Python and associated data processing libraries (e.g. pandas, numpy)
