The role focuses on driving new premium income and enhancing Vitality’s market share by effectively communicating the VitalityLife and Health propositions across key networks and service provider intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new and incremental annual premium income for both VitalityLife and Health.
  • Meet and exceed market share growth objectives within the network.
  • Increase the number of supporters for Vitality within each distributor.
  • Maintain panel positions where applicable.
  • Present Vitality's offerings to national accounts and their member firms.
  • Develop and implement a robust marketing plan to support key business goals.
  • Manage key relationships at Network and RI levels.
  • Collaborate with all Vitality sales distribution channels.
  • Provide technical and market intelligence insights to the Vitality sales teams.
  • Enhance awareness of Vitality and identify sales procedures or policies that may inhibit product usage.

Requirements

  • Ideally hold FPC/QCF4 or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the UK protection and intermediary markets.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or technical role within the industry.
  • Demonstrate a strong sales and commercial focus.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly at Board and RI levels.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality sales and technical presentations to educate advisers.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Be a self-starter with a high level of field-based activity.
  • Have comprehensive industry knowledge, including regulatory, technical, and competitor insights.
  • Capable of working under pressure, using initiative, and functioning with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit a flexible working style and strong organizational and administrative skills.
