About The Role

Team – Technical Marketing, Content and Social

Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What this role is all about:

At Vitality, we’re on a mission to help people live healthier, longer, better lives and we’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who’s passionate about bringing that mission to life across LinkedIn. You’ll be the driving force behind our Business Health and Adviser profiles, crafting smart, engaging content that builds brand authority, sparks meaningful conversations, and supports our commercial goals. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, purpose‑led environment where strategic thinking, creativity, and precision come together to make a real impact.

Key Actions

  • Deliver Vitality’s social media strategy to increase followers & fans to build brand awareness and engagement with our unique propositions.
  • Deliver high‑quality social media content to stimulate positive brand, product consideration and engagement from fans and followers and to present Vitality as an authoritative voice in the Health, Fitness, Wellbeing conversations.
  • Manage brand social media channels on LinkedIn – Vitality UK, Vitality Business and Vitality Adviser. Supporting the social media manager on content curation, planning, posting and community management.
  • Support the wider social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and YouTube – to ensure Vitality has a consistent brand tone of voice.
  • Research and monitor activity of Vitality’s competitors to reach and then stay at #1 in social conversations.
  • Ensure that all social media marketing content has considered keywords for optimal reach and link building.
  • Monitor and report on Vitality’s performance in social media platforms using tools such as Brandwatch and Google Analytics to make recommendations based on actionable insights and evolve social media marketing strategies and campaigns as appropriate.
  • Attend events and shoots as required during working hours or out of hours to capture ‘behind the scenes’ content for use across Vitality social media platforms.
  • Attend networking events on a regular basis to keep abreast of industry movements and evolve Vitality’s social media marketing best practices and strategies as relevant.
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions (as relevant with the Social Media Servicing team) to ensure issue resolution and exceptional customer experience, and overseeing the social media tone of voice and personality.

  • You’re a natural storyteller with a knack for creating content that connects.
  • Strong organisational skills for planning.
  • Communication skills for internal updates and stakeholder management.
