About The Role

Team: Brand, Creative and Copy

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working!

What this role is all about:

We are looking for a specialist Creative Performance Designer to join our in-house team and lead the development of high-impact, full-funnel advertising across Meta, LinkedIn, Display, and Google. This role is pivotal in driving awareness through to acquisition, creating conversion-focused assets that move seamlessly from concept to execution. Success in this role requires thriving in a fast-paced, high-output environment, using GenAI-powered tools to rapidly test, iterate, and scale creative performance while continually raising the bar on quality and effectiveness.

Key Actions:

  • Design, build, and deliver acquisition creatives across static, motion, and lightweight video formats for Meta, LinkedIn, Display, and Google Ads.
  • Maintain a constant flow of new creative across Health, Life, and SME going live every 60 days, ensuring brand consistency while optimising assets based on performance insights.
  • Take the lead in leveraging Gen AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Claude, Gemini) to quickly generate visual directions, variations, and prototypes, and create internal prompt libraries and workflows to help the wider team work faster.
  • Drive efficiency by using AI-enabled applications and automation tools (Adobe Express) to accelerate the manufacture of social and performance assets, building repeatable templates and systems for rapid iteration.
  • Partner closely with the Acquisition team to understand performance insights, goals, and channel requirements, translating testing results into clear creative recommendations.
  • Ensure all creative assets are delivered accurately, on time, and strictly adhere to platform-specific technical standards and creative best practices for brand and conversion-led campaigns.
  • Own and champion the application of brand across all performance creative, ensuring consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging across every asset. Balance performance optimisation with brand-building principles delivering work that is both conversion-focused and unmistakably on-brand at scale.

What do you need to thrive?

  • In-depth understanding of how creative execution influences performance across different ad ecosystems (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display), moving beyond design craft to channel strategy and audience intent.
  • Proven experience creating high-performing acquisition creatives, ideally in a performance-driven environment, with a strong understanding of Meta and other platform formats, placements, and creative best practices.
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere).
  • Hands-on experience with Gen AI tools for image, layout, or video generation (e.g., Firefly, Adobe Express, Claude, Gemini).
  • Familiarity with tooling that accelerates production (e.g., Adobe express/Creative Automation or similar).
  • Proven ability to produce creative that cuts through, stops scrolling, and holds audience attention, with a focus on short-form video and high-engagement assets.
  • A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft and examples of high-performing paid social creatives, ideally including shot video clips/Meta-style ads that demonstrate stop-scrolling capability.
  • Strong understanding of how brand consistency and creative distinctiveness contribute to long-term performance. Ability to apply brand guidelines flexibly across high-volume outputs without diluting identity or quality.
