Top 3 skills needed for this role: Strong expertise in designing, implementing and governing robust tracking frameworks using Google Tag Manager
Expertise in Google Analytics 4, with the ability to translate digital behaviour into actionable business insights
Excellent data visualisation skills, including advanced dashboard development in Google Data/Looker Studio (Power BI experience a bonus)
What this role is all about:
We're looking for an experienced Digital Analyst, on a 12-month fixed term contract, to be our go-to expert for digital analytics across our UK digital estate, including the Vitality.co.uk website, online quote and buy journeys, tools, web forms, and logged-in platforms. This is a hands-on role centred around Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio, requiring someone who is passionate about digital measurement, tracking implementation and reporting. Working closely with product and marketing teams, you'll deliver actionable insights that inform development roadmaps and optimisation initiatives, helping to create digital experiences that are intuitive, valuable for customers, and aligned with commercial goals. This role is key in ensuring our digital journeys meet both user needs and business objectives.
Key Actions Working across multiple data sets to support digital product development and marketing colleagues with analysis and liaising with stakeholders across the wider business
Understanding product opportunities, problems, and potential experiment ideas
Providing actionable insights and recommendations, to help support prioritisation decisions for improvements or further testing / analysis
Proactively identify data issues, collaborating with the analytics, technical and technology teams to troubleshoot and solve problems in site tagging, implementation and data quality
Maintenance of the Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 360
