Job Description

Temporary Accommodation Officer, South London Pay rate to £209.68 per day Contract role, Local Government Housing We are recruiting for an experienced Temporary Accommodation Officer in South London.  This is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority setting Main Purpose of the Job
  • To mange a caseload of households that have been identified as ready to move on from temporary accommodation into settled accommodation.  
  • Using the information about the household to offer suitable (as legally defined) settled accommodation for them, in order for the Council to discharge duties.  
  • This could be private rented accommodation, supported housing, direct offer of social housing, choice-based lettings or other settled accommodation options.  
  • To review information about the household, updating the housing needs assessment, and other documentation, as necessary, to ensure the needs of the household are fully understood.
