Contract role
Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in an Access and Assessment Team in Reading Council. To work as part of our new assessment service, working a duty rota and undertaking single assessments through to ICPC (Initial Child Protection Conference) or first CHiN Plan meet. This supports Children in Need (health & development) where it is likely to be impaired. The disabled and those children needing additional services. To support any reasonable grounds to suspect a child is suffering or likely to suffer harm. Looks at risk, protective measures and next steps.
Candidate will be on duty every 3 weeks and the expectation is that they will need to be in the office for duty weeks and 2 days on the weeks we are not on duty.
