The Team Manager for Fostering Support and Supervision is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the Supervising Social Work Team within Children's Services.
The postholder will lead and support a team of Supervising Social Workers to deliver high-quality fostering support and supervision services, ensuring that foster carers receive effective guidance and support and that children achieve positive outcomes in safe and stable placements.
The role focuses on the effective management and development of fostering support and supervision services, ensuring that foster carers receive the guidance, training and support required to meet the needs of children and young people in their care.
The Team Manager will ensure that all work is delivered in line with fostering regulations, statutory guidance, council policies and professional standards.
