Vitalis is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for a Safeguarding and Support Team in Blackburn. Blackburn with Darwen Children's Services, recently rated 'Good' in its ILACS Ofsted inspection, seeks two experienced agency social workers for its Safeguarding and Support team.

The role involves mainly parenting assessments within pre-proceedings, with potential care proceedings work. One position starts as soon as possible, the other in June/July.

Candidates must be fully compliant, ideally with complete references, a current enhanced DBS check, and SWE registration without notations. They must have access to a car daily and be willing to work in the office 3 days a week, plus be available for emergencies and service needs. Caseload management skills are required. IT competency and record-keeping are essential; experience with Liquid Logic is advantageous but not mandatory.
