Pay rate up to £32.52 per hour

Contract role

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Mental Health Team in Haringey.

• Excellent assessment skills
• Be able to work with service user and carers in times of crisis
• Work with individuals and families in an outcome focused way using a Strength Based approach
• To manage a caseload of varied complexity
• To work within, and advocate for, principles of non-discriminatory practice to ensure equality of access for service users with mental ill health to mainstream provision where appropriate
• To be able to establish and maintain links with professionals from other services and sectors of the community
• Current and up to date knowledge of research, policies and best practice which you will maintain throughout your time in Haringey
• A commitment to continued learning and professional development
• To be willing to contribute to the smooth running of the team and support with team development
