Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Connected Carers team in Stockport. This is a non-case-holding role. The duty social worker will be responsible for the task of duty only within the Connected Carers Team. The duty social worker will work in partnership with the full-time duty worker who is well established in the team.
Main duties will include:
- Taking the lead with Regulation 24 Assessments and Viability Assessments.
- Representing the team at ULPMs, LPMs and CPMs and any duty tasks associated with the outcome of these meetings.
- Supporting and supervising Kinship Foster carers in the absence of their SSW.
- Assisting the Assessing SWs with some assessment tasks as and when necessary, including Form K assessments.
However, the main focus of this role will be on the task of duty.
