Contract role

Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Qualified Social Workers to work in a Community Mental Health Team in Trafford Council. We are looking to recruit Social Workers/AMHPs that can work with warmth, empathy, and genuineness within a multi-disciplinary team and have a strong social work identity.

For this role, you need to be a social worker that is driven and passionate about making a difference and working within a strong human rights framework to drive social justice and equal opportunity for people with mental health problems.

You will need to be a collaborative person with excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills who uses their professional curiosity and inquisitive enquiry at every contact to promote person-centred outcomes and wellbeing.

You will need to have a good knowledge base around ethical and legal literacy, and be committed to continually learning and improving the way you do things to ensure effective outcomes.

You will need to value and respect others’ contributions, be able to professionally challenge when applicable, and work within a ‘solutions-focused’ and ‘can-do approach’ within a specialist service area. This is key to improving outcomes for adults experiencing poor mental health and to support their families.
