Qualified Social Worker, Family Help Team, Leicestershire Council Pay rate to £38 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Family Help Team in Leicestershire Council.
Key
Responsibilities: To provide social work oversight on Child in Need plans being held by keyworkers.
This is to include chairing first and last CIN meetings, accompanying keyworkers on home visits if needed, chairing strategy discussions, completing section 47 enquiries, completing written oversight every month on each family.
This is not a case holding position, but the SSWOP will be co-allocated to each child held by keyworkers.
Key
Experience: Experienced senior practitioner with safeguarding experience to include strategy discussions, S47s, private proceedings.
Good understand of thresholds.
Preferable if they have previously offered oversight eg to a student Average case holding: This is not a case holding position but will be co-allocated to provide oversight to around 60 children Team size and layout: Team consists of Team Manager, SP, 4 social workers, Team and Partnership Manager, 3 Team Leaders, 8 keyworkers and 8 family support workers Hybrid working arrangements: Hybrid working is supported but will need to be in the office 50% of the time.
