Contract role
Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor to work in a Team in Warrington Council. Operating in the field of education and/or adult social care law from time to time you may also be expected to advise councillors and officers in the area of children’s social care. The posts involve advocacy in the Court of Protection, the Special Educational Needs Tribunal and other tribunals.
All candidates will need excellent communication skills, team skills and the ability to interpret legislation in a common sense and practical manner, having due regard to the Council’s legal responsibilities. Training and mentoring from experienced colleagues will be provided where needed.
We offer a supportive environment within a progressive and friendly team in a modern, state of the art building in the heart of Warrington. We are committed to flexible working and offer a hybrid model of working with part of the week spent working from home where appropriate. We would prefer somebody who can come to the office from time to time, but fully remote will be considered.
